76”x76” quilt made using the Morris & Co. “Hawkdale” fabric line designed for FreeSpirit Fabrics. Construction of this vintage inspired four block quilt features strip pieced Skinny Robin 32-Point Compass Sunflower blocks surrounded by appliqué vines, leaves, artichokes, and birds! Appliqué elements are made using my facing method and then machine appliquéd using a hem stitch. Made using the Skinny Robin 16-Point Mariner’s Compass Book and Ruler Combo AND the 32-Point Book and Ruler Combo
